Wayne County CASA had a wonderful ‘CASA Day at the Capitol’ with our amazing Michigan CASA network meeting with our Legislators!
Over the last several years, Michigan CASA—our state level CASA organization has held ‘CASA Day at the Capitol’ in Lansing. During this day dedicated to legislative advocacy, local Michigan programs have the opportunity to connect with state legislators. They can show appreciation for their support and request continued funding in the state budget for the upcoming year. CASA programs from across the state, including ours, traveled to Lansing to meet with senators and representatives from their districts.
